I’ve known Jane since we were college roomies back in the day. I mention this because it was then that I first noticed how much passion she had for the art of cosmetics.There was always something about making people look beautiful that brought excitement for her. It’s no surprise today that she would be a professional make up artist. Jane was the one who first taught me how to wear makeup the correct way. She always gave me great tips and tricks on how to apply cosmetics. Naturally when it came to my wedding day, I only trusted her to do my makeup! She not only a cosmetic genius but she is a total sweetheart! Jane is great at what she does and you will not be disappointed! Oh, by the way she is awesome with hair too (and yes, she’s the only person I trust to cut my hair!!!) I love ya Jane!!

Christine + Johneric | Wedding

It’s no big secret that wedding planning can get really stressful. And of course, every bride wants to feel comfortable and look beautiful on the big day. I  had so many loose ends to tie during the week of my wedding, and to top it off, the hair and makeup artist that I had originally booked backed out five days before the wedding.  I panicked. I never had good hair and makeup skills. Also I had a total of 9 bridesmaids, 2 flower girls and also my mother who also needed help in the hair and makeup department. My big question was how are we going to book someone that was really good in such a short amount of time? My friends and I made as many calls as possible, scoured through the internet searching for all the local vendors that would consider taking us on given the short notice. All that searching yielded us the greatest find. We found Jane.

During that hectic week before the wedding, I was able to chat with her over the phone after reviewing pictures of her work and immediately I felt at ease. She was very responsive, kind, and accommodating, especially considering the large group of girls and an accelerated schedule for such a big job. She was able to clear her already busy schedule to take care of us. I did a trial with her the following day I initially spoke with her. I was impressed with her way of preparing for the trial. She had asked me for a picture of myself as well as pictures of ideas I had for hair and makeup so that the trial could run more smoothly.

When I went to my trial, I felt like I was on one of those makeover shows. As she did my hair like I requested and my makeup with a palette that suited my complexion, she didn’t want me to look at any mirrors during the entire process. When she was finally done, she did her reveal and spun me around on the chair and I finally got to see myself all done up. I was pleasantly surprised as her work exceeded my expectations and made me confident that I would look how I wanted to look for my wedding. She then proceded to go through an assessment with me to see what I thought needed to be altered with both the hair and make-up job that she did for me. I didn’t think much needed to be changed. But she was open to pointing out what she needed to do differently and asked me what I thought. Her process ensured I got what I wanted.

On my wedding day, she did an awesome job on me and the rest of the women of the bridal party. I really couldn’t be happier. All the girls really liked her a lot, too. What I also really appreciated was her caring attitude to try to help me relax when I was feeling quite tense that morning. Even after not sleeping a wink the entire night, she managed to help me look great, fresh-faced, and alert the entire day and evening.  And when I look back and relive the day looking through the wedding pictures and videos, I can honestly say that Jane did a wonderful job helping me look and feel beautiful on my big day.

Larizza + Richard | Wedding

I wanted to thank Jane for making my wedding day very special.  She made me look and feel better than I ever have before and I really appreciate  it.  She did a wonderful job on me and everyone else that she worked on, she was a relaxing presence. My makeup looked fantastic in all of the pictures and I felt like myself and not some overly done version of me.  Jane enhanced our beauty without making us look made up and cakey which lasted the whole wedding day.  On behalf of my entourage, mom and I,  I thank her for being such a pleasure to work with.

Lizette Trent

I have had the honor of knowing Jane since I was 11 years old. She was the first person to ever put make up on me and make me feel beautiful. I used Jane’s services back in High School for school dances and prom. Her talent has been the result of a hobby that turned into a passion and developed into her profession.
